November 20 - Deceiving

Diablo Valley College cancels classes through the Thanksgiving Vacation, and -- while it's always seemed to be a reasonable notion to have a Fall Break at this time of year, in analog to Spring -- a bit discombobulating it is to have the occurance unplanned... now Music Theory and History will both have runs for it, re completing all course requirement within an already-reduced (but, admittedly, quite welcome) academic schedule this semester.  Be that as it may, the tragedy for many that is the Paradise Fire continues blazing away and fouling atmospheres on its 13th day (though, yet again, we seem relatively spared, with campfire in the air, as has become the norm during this time... and, paradoxically, rain seems due tomorrow, so this may be the last day of active conflagration) -- 10th of fall, high down 3 to 66.

Still, indoors continues to be the healthy option, acquiring a Dmitir Shostakovich (1906-1975) video, editing page 61 new-edition Mice and Men, Op. 45 (1992): Act III, and composing
