After a busy weekend,
another amazingly active day,
south on 680
to meet the Music Historians.
Out afterwards for another jaunt on the
DVC-San-Ramon-to-Mt.-Diablo route,
now north on Magee Ranch,
downslope
to
a
midpoint with view of the Peak's slope.
Back in the car,
north
to
point
of
origin --
take Harriet to
Kaiser emergency (her first class ever missed today at Solano College),
where she receives encouragement as her most serious bout with vertigo abates.
Chris texts while on site --
he is back in the area a week early, and has a bit of free time.
With Harriet feeling much better,
head
back
down
the
byways
to
Sonoma
and
on
towards
Marin,
picking him up at Carolyn's,
to take one of our traditional walks in the Crestwood /
Terra
Linda /
Ridgewood /
Sleepy Hollow
Divide
Open Space,
ending up at the Rock.
A divine time,
then
homeward
again,
on
the
43rd
day
of
summer,
high
up 3 to 84,
locally and in San Ramon (tying for the 2nd highest temperature of the year with March 28, April 22, and May 4)
