The big Agnew family reunion,
hosted by Bette and George, with
Bill, Kathy, Nancy, Mark, Sorrel Ann, Chris, Cherie, and David+ + most partners / spouses in attendance --
and a wonderful time is had by all,
starting with breakfast at Staybridge Inn,
continuing into
mid-morning outside,
noonish back in the
lobby,
transitioning naturally into afternoon lunch, first at Terrain and
continuing to
Ruby's.
After a brief break, we are back
at
it
for
photos,
followed
by
dinner,
plus
a wonderful display and
program presented by S.A.,
assisted by Bette,
in the conference center re the history of the
illustrious clan, originally from England, moving to Ireland c. 1365, then
over to Scotland,
with some returning to
Northern
Ireland,
an
esteemed
even portraited lineage, with
connections to the
linen industry and
Presbyterianism,
eventually
through
the
vagaries
of
fortune
heading
to
America,
specifically Pittsburgh and the New Jersey shore,
for a focus on Fred and Gertrude.
Fantastic!
On the 68th day of summer, high up 10 to 97 (85 locally)...
