east of
Slide Mountain and Mt. Rose,
through
Carson
Valley,
beyond
Topaz Lake,
back into California,
an
initial
attempt
at
accomodations at Centennial Bluff,
then soldiering on to
a
wonderful
stay
at
West
Walker,
dinner at
Mountain
View
Barbecue,
a
stroll
around
environs,
and
a
therapeutic
porch
session
wind
picking up and
smoke from all the Western fires somewhat abating. 125th day of summer, high 100, locally and in Reno (Sacramento, 95 / Walker, 89)...
